HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?
You can email us at theclaytonsdesign@gmail.com with what you have in mind for your session (a specific location, day, time, questions, etc.). We’ll check our availability and get you a quote and move forward from there!
To book your wedding, we do require a 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract. These can be sent electronically or through the mail.
TIP: We are natural light photographers and some of the best light is in the morning and evenings!
HOW DO I PAY YOU?
At this time we accept cash or check at the time of your session.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
We’re based in Chicago, IL. If locations require additional travel fees, we’ll be sure to let you know in the contract prior to booking. Feel free to send us details of your plans and we’ll give you an exact quote!

THE PHOTOS ARE MINE, RIGHT?
Yes! All sessions come with a copyright release and high-resolution, edited images which allows you to print as many photos as you want. We still retain the copyright to the images to include on our blog, Facebook, and other social media channels as we grow Clayton Photo + Design.
If you’d like to submit any of the photos that you’ve purchased to any sort of contest, we ask that you please include a photo credit to Clayton Photo + Design and let us know if you win! :)
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS?
We take about 1 week per hour that we spent shooting to edit each image individually. For example, if we shot a 1 hour session, you’d get your photos back in about a week.
Engagements by nature are time sensitive because couples need to mail their invitations and are assigned first priority. If we have a busy season the delivery dates are an estimate and are subject to change.
WHAT IS A SHOOT LIKE?
We like to get to know the people we photograph – that’s what we love about our job! We like to just get to know each other and get comfortable because that’s what makes the best images. By the end of a shoot we often find ourselves saying "We should do that again!" because it's so fun getting to know you!
WHY DID YOU START CLAYTON PHOTO + DESIGN?
Why not? Since before we got married we saw each other’s love for photography and design. All growing up we both loved photography and documenting life and we still do! We saw that creating images with photography and design made people happy and that’s what we enjoy the most. We both have strengths and make the most of them to make whatever the occasion is special for you.
